From 18 to 21 April Kuban State University participated in the XXIX International Specialized ICT Forum TIBO-2023, which took place in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). The Kuban State University delegation included Elena Stroganova, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation, Evgenia Rotai, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Department, and Rostislav Peredrii, a second-year student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. At the exhibition the students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology presented their developments — a system of automatic camera aiming at the search mark and an automatic system of controlling the rotation of the prompter on the operating crane.
The TIBO Forum brought together the largest manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, hardware and software, mobile operators, developers and suppliers of high-tech products. The TIBO Forum participants also included representatives of government agencies, professional and business associations, research and educational institutions, and the mass media. Among Russian universities, Kuban State University and Southwestern State University were represented.
As part of the program of the visit to the Republic of Belarus, the KubSU delegation also visited the partner university — Belarusian State Technological University. The parties discussed the expansion of cooperation areas, including joint educational and scientific programs, internships for students and teachers.

During the visit to the A.D. Sakharov International State Ecological Institute a KubSU student also made a presentation of scientific projects for Belarusian students.
Cooperation with A.D. Sakharov Moscow State Institute of Economics is actively developing. For example, KubSU students have been participating in international Olympiads for a number of years: this year they took the third place in the 12th International Ecological Olympiad of CIS universities. A total of 46 teams from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in the Olympiad. In April 2023 the scientific-practical conference «Tourist and recreational complex in the system of regional development» was held, co-organized by the Belarusian university. Head of the Department of Geoecology and Nature Management of KubSU Sergey Nikolayevich Bolotin was invited to the opening as a plenary speaker of the 23rd International Scientific Conference «Sakharov Readings: Environmental Problems of the XXI Century», which will be held in Minsk from 18 to 19 May 2023.
In addition, the program of the visit included negotiations with potential partners of KubSU — Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian State Academy of Communications, Belarusian State University of Economics and others. The program of the visit also included negotiations with potential partners of KubSU. It is planned to conclude cooperation agreements, create joint educational programs, and hold scientific events. Online meetings are planned for the beginning of May to discuss the plans in detail.
It should be noted that the development of cooperation with universities of the Republic of Belarus is a priority direction of international activity of KubSU. In April KubSU students took part in the IX Eurasian Student Olympiad on Analytical Economics and Forecasting, held by the Belarusian State University. Members of the Faculty of History, Sociology and International Relations will participate in the international conference «Actual Problems of Source Studies», held by Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University from 27 to 29 April. Vitebsk university also co-organized the Online Art Contest of illustrations initiated by the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Kuban State University. The Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Kuban State University together with the Faculty of German Language of Minsk State Linguistic University plan to organize a joint scientific conference «TEXT — DISCOURSE — CULTURE» in May.
