Kuban State University is one of the largest scientific and educational centers in the South of Russia. The University has created a modern scientific and educational environment that guarantees the preparation of competitive specialists in demand by society, based on the combination of modern technologies and the best traditions of classical university education. The educational model of Kuban State University is “a classical university in a digital society and knowledge economy”. The primary goal of the University is to comprehensively educate its graduates for prosperous career and the ability to adapt to a changing society. The curriculum includes academic subject depth, scientific and general cultural outlook, stable value orientations, general cultural and professional competencies. More than 30,000 students are enrolled in the University, which consists of 22 academic units.

The leading university in the Krasnodar Region Kuban State University offers over 300 programs of secondary vocational education, bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s and postgraduate studies in more than 150 majors. In addition to teaching students who are enrolled in secondary vocational and higher education programs, the University actively implements programs of professional education.

Kuban State University consists of:

  • 2 institutes
  • 15 faculties, and five subsidiary campuses; in the cities of Armavir, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Tikhoretsk and Slavyansk-on-Kuban;
  • Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies.
