
On December 19, the informational and consultative event for international students was held at the Kuban State University. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality of Education – First Vice-Rector Temyr Aitechevich Khagurov, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the value of education in the modern world and the conditions necessary for foreign students to successfully master their professional educational programs and become highly qualified and sought-after specialists in their chosen fields. He also highlighted that all departments of KubSU are ready to provide students with assistance and support in organizing their studies and solving all social issues.
The event was organized by the International Affairs Department as part of the work plan for the sociocultural adaptation and integration of foreign students in order to inform them about legislation in the Russian Federation, safety regulations, and internal regulations for students, as well as the social support measures and prevention of conflict situations in the student environment. KubSU staff members reminded students of useful information available on the official KubSU website, as well as on social media and in chats.
It is worth noting that in the current academic year, Kuban State University hosts over a thousand international students from 77 countries around the world.
