On September 5th, Kuban State University celebrated its 105th anniversary. Being founded in 1920 with three faculties, the university has come a long way and became the ancestor of several independent Krasnodar universities.
Today, KubSU is one of the leading universities in Russia, consistently included in national rankings. The university embraces 15 faculties, research institutes and 5 branches in the Krasnodar region.
The success of the university is ensured by more than 1900 scientific and pedagogical workers, including an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 239 doctors and 950 candidates of science. The high status of KubSU attracts more than 32 thousand students from Russia and 75 other countries.
