On February 5, on the eve of Russian Science Day, Kuban State University hosted a solemn ceremony honoring the best scientists of the university for their special contribution to the development of science and attracting financial resources for the development of the university in 2025.
Each of the invited students earned more than one million rubles for the university last year. The scientists carried out research work on government assignments and business contracts, and won various grant competitions of Russian and Kuban foundations.
It is worth noting that the number of «millionaire» scientists at the university is growing every year. So, according to the results of 2014 (the first year of honoring scientists in this indicator), there were 22 such people, in 2025 54 scientists were awarded diplomas. In total, they brought about 340 million rubles to the university during the year.
Among the awardees are representatives of nine faculties, two institutes, one branch in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, the scientific research unit, the Scientific Research Center for the Prevention of Geoecological and man-made disasters, the educational and scientific production team «Analyt», the Scientific Research Institute of «Hydrogen Energy», the Novorossiysk Educational and Scientific Research Marine Biological center. https://kubsu.ru/ru/node/45013
