From April 20 to 27, the XIV International Conference «Tourism and Recreation Complex in the System of Regional Development» was held in Belgrade and Bregča. The conference was organized by Kuban State University in collaboration with scientific and educational organizations from Russia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan.
The conference included a plenary session, a roundtable discussion on «Russia-Serbia: Tourism Flows and Development Potential,» three thematic sections (with over 60 presentations), and a cultural program at the Russian House in Belgrade.
The participants conducted field trips to study Serbia’s tourism and recreation sector, visited historical sites, met with the head of the Danube District, and explored the UNESCO-listed Studenica Monastery. The conference strengthened international scientific cooperation.
