International competition of student business projects «International Business School of Alikhan Bokeikhan University»

The International Business School of Alikhan Bokeikhan University invites students to participate in the annual international competition of student business projects, which will take place online on March 29-30, 2023. The winners will receive money prizes from the Alikhan Bokeikhan University Fund. The money prizes are as follows:

1st place — 400,000 tenge (equivalent to 800 euros, based on the current exchange rate as of January 30, 2023)

2nd place — 300,000 tenge (equivalent to 600 euros, based on the current exchange rate as of January 30, 2023)

3rd place — 200,000 tenge (equivalent to 400 euros, based on the current exchange rate as of January 30, 2023)

The competition will also award diplomas of I, II, and III degrees to the winners.

The business project competition is held in the following areas/nominations:

Best project in the field of social entrepreneurship.

Best innovative business project (using proprietary innovative technologies within the framework of the business project).

The competition is conducted in two stages:

Stage 1 — initial review of projects based on the application and project description (technical and economic expertise) by the expert committee (dates from March 15 to 28, 2023).

Stage 2 — public (online) defense of projects by each university team (March 29-30, 2023).

Participants must submit their projects in electronic form no later than March 15, 2023, to the email address shustova_yelena@mail.ru, Elena Pavlovna Shustova. The email subject line must indicate «Project for the competition from the university (indicate the name of the university).»

The explanatory note should include the project’s purpose, relevance, main ideas, a brief description of the implementation mechanism, technical and economic justification, and expected results, as well as implementation results (if any). The explanatory note should not exceed 15-18 pages. Projects without technical and economic justification are not allowed to participate in the competition!
