On October 7, the solemn opening ceremony of the Youth Project Office took place at Kuban State University. The event was held within the framework of the project “Youth in Kub”: preserving traditions, creating the future” with the support of the program “Rosmolodezh.Grants”.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mikhail Astapov, Rector of KubSU, and Inna Miroshnichenko, Vice Rector for Strategic Development and International Affairs. Together with a student of the Faculty of Management and Psychology, Amir Zaremuk, they cut the ribbon into a new space.
During the event, representatives of the university’s student media also met with the rector in an open dialogue format. They talked about the role of student media in shaping the university’s image, how the rector sees the media center in the future, and its development. They also asked about the project that Mikhail Borisovich would have implemented if he had been on the media team. At the end of the dialogue, the students presented the rector with a symbolic «ticket» to the world of media projects and invited him to participate in their activities as a guest.
The creation of the Youth Project Office is aimed at the systematic development of project activities at the university and provides students with a modern infrastructure to implement their initiatives. The project was implemented as part of a set of project solutions «Youth in Kub: preserving traditions, creating the future», which are aimed at maintaining a constructive position of students of Kuban State University as socially responsible citizens, highly qualified professionals who are ready to realize their potential in the interests of the region and the country.
