Kuban State University actively develops international cooperation. Students, staff and professors of the University are involved in academic exchange programs. More than 500 students and graduate students and about 400 professors in the past five years have travelled to foreign educational and research institutions to give lectures, and attend internships, training and practice.
In turn, students and professors from foreign countries also come to the University: 80-100 students from many countries annually come to Kuban State University in a student exchange.
Professors from Austria, Germany, Greece, China, Mexico, the United States, Japan, France and other countries give lectures, seminars and master classes. In addition, foreign students, interns and scholars help Russian students in the study of foreign languages and cultures, participate actively in the work of student clubs, creative studios and international centers of the University.
In addition, Russian students assist in the adaptation of foreign guests of Kuban State University to the Russian-speaking environment and Russian culture.
For students from non-partner universities who want to spend a semester at Kuban State University, a tuition fee is to be paid. To participate in academic mobility/exchange programs, you should complete several steps:

The Student Scientific Society is engaged in organizing and stimulating the research activities of students at Kuban State University. The main objectives of its activities are the development and support of students’ and postgraduates’ research, the implementation of their scientific interests and the improvement of the training quality.
Every year, the Student Scientific Society organizes the celebration of the Day of Russian Science, holds a competition of innovative projects “Fair of Ideas”, participates in the festival “Science 0+”, and organizes the Youth Week of Science.
VOLUNTEER CENTER
Volunteering is an integral component of student life at Kuban State University. A powerful impetus for its development was secured when the University won the right to create a Center for recruiting volunteers to participate in hosting the XXII Olympic and XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014. The largest volunteer training center in Russia was opened at Kuban State University. More than 11,000 volunteers from all over Russia were registered in the electronic database of the Kuban State University Volunteer Center, of which more than 5,000 were interviewed, and 2,733 were trained. The result of two years of work was the participation of 1,580 the Center trained in the first Winter Olympics held in Russia.
Volunteers of Kuban State University also worked at the First Youth Winter Games in Innsbruck, at the Summer Olympic Games in London, at the World Summer Universiade in Kazan (World University Games), the 2017 Confederations Cup, the 2018 World Cup, the Russian Grand Prix Formula 1 and other significant sports’ events.
YOUTH CULTURAL AND LEISURE CENTER
The Youth Cultural and Leisure Center was founded in 1994. Over the years, the Center’s creativity has attracted a significant number of students. Every year, new stars are lit on the university horizon, which become a real constellation of talents.
The main task of the Youth Cultural and Leisure Center is to organize the cultural and leisure life of students. Experienced specialists who are leaders of creative teams help students. About a thousand students are engaged in the studios of the Youth Cultural and Leisure Center. Supported by the leadership of the University, since its founding in 2010, the Center and the University have hosted a festival of youth creative initiatives with over 7,000 participants. These initiatives include displays of international cultures, creative contests, and gala concerts.
SPORT
Kuban State University has won the glory of a sports university. Since 1952, university trained sportsmen have become champions in the USSR, Russia, Europe, the world, and the Olympics. To this day they continue to glorify our country at competitions at various levels.
These achievements in university sports are possible, in part, due to the modern facilities and equipment. The Kuban State University stadium is one of the best in the South of Russia; the university also has a fitness center with a swimming pool.
Entry and residence regulations
After reviewing the application at the Russian Embassy / Consulate, you are issued a single-entry visa (for entering the Russian Federation), which is reissued for a multiple-entry visa upon your arrival.

Kuban State University offers all courses/subjects in Russian; if you need additional classes on the Russian language, contact your coordinator;
you must have funds for living expenses (food, payment for cell phone, Internet, transportation etc.). the minimum amount you will need is 10000-12000 rubles per month. (this amount does not include accommodation fee);
3. Inform the coordinator at Kuban State University on your arrival (exact day and time) in advance.

Kuban State University offers accommodation in dormitories of sectional type with 2 or 3 beds in each room.
How to get to the dormitory:
if you arrive at Krasnodar on a weekday during business hours, you can be picked up from the airport;
If you arrive at night or on the weekend will have to get to the dormitory by yourself.

Please contact the passport and visa service of the International Affairs Department of Kuban State University for registration. Visa support costs about of 1200 rubles (Vera Sergeevna Ilinykh, dormitory #5, room 115, Mon-Fri from 9-00 to 13-00).
Every student takes medical tests in a local hospital upon arrival at the university. If you have international medical insurance, the cost of the tests will be reimbursed to you when you return home (you must keep all receipts). If you do not have international insurance, you can purchase Russian health insurance from the International Affairs Department.
