KubSU is a Co-Organizer of the International School of Russian Studies

From October 31 to November 5, the Kyrgyz State University named after K. Karasaev in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) hosted the III International School of Russian Studies «Current Issues in Modern Humanities» and the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Russian Language – a Language of Friendship and Peace.»

Traditionally, the School of Russian Studies and the International Conference were organized by the Faculty of Russian Philology of Karasaev University and the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at the Philological Faculty of Kuban State University, with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Kyrgyzstan and the public foundation «Moscow Classics.»

The «School of Russian Studies» project has established itself as a significant event for schoolteachers, university lecturers, and scholars from our countries. The School serves as a platform for professional and scientific dialogue, contributing to the strengthening of the position of the Russian language and culture in Kyrgyzstan.

The events were held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and remote interaction. The Acting Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language, Yulia Faridovna Okovitaya, participated as an invited guest, delivering lectures and presentations on modern trends in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Faculty members of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language joined the conference and School of Russian Studies online, facilitating broad scientific dialogue and the exchange of experience under the modern conditions of organizing educational and scientific events.(https://kubsu.ru/ru/node/44753)
