44.03.01 Pedagogical education

Profile: Chemistry Education.

The educational programme harmoniously combines chemistry education and new technologies of education and training in the educational system in order to apply its knowledge in general education, professional education, vocational education, supplementary education.

Types of professional activity:

Performing the duties of a chemistry teacher in terms of project, pedagogical (teaching and educational, including chemistry teaching) and research activities. Educational institutions of general education (basic secondary schools, grammar schools, lyceums); educational institutions of secondary special education: colleges, technical colleges, schools; educational institutions of supplementary education.

20.03.01 Safety Engineering

Profiles:

  • Occupational health and safety;
  • Environmental safety.

The study programme provides the formation of systemic understanding of environmental safety, modern structure of occupational safety and health; ensuring the reduction of occupational risks in the technosphere.

Main subjects studied:

  • Medical and biological bases of safety;
  • Life safety;
  • Environmental monitoring;
  • Combustion and explosion theory;
  • Safety supervision and control;
  • Occupational health and safety;
  • Reliability of Engineering Systems and Technogenic Risk;
  • Environmental assessment and certification.

Types of professional activity:

Construction and housing and communal services (in the field of waste management). Horizontal activities in industry (in the fields of: occupational safety; environmental safety; waste management; emergency protection); in research centres, design institutes, expert and supervisory organisations, inspection and audit companies.

27.03.01 Standardisation and Metrology

Profiles:

  • Metrology, Standardisation & Certification;
  • Standardisation and Certification.

The study programme provides formation of systemic ideas about modern structure of metrology and standardisation, research of existing and development of new methods and technologies of analysis, justification and evaluation of decisions in the field of standardisation and metrology.

Main subjects studied:

  • Physical foundations of measurement and measurement standards;
  • Certification and foreign trade;
  • Fundamentals of analysis and analytical control;
  • Methods and instruments of measurement and control;
  • Testing Organisation and Technology;
  • Quality management;
  • Economics of quality, standardisation and certification.

Types of professional activity:

Transversal types of professional activity in industry in the sphere of manufacture of chemical products for various purposes, in the sphere of metrology, certification and technical quality control of products, system of quality assurance of the organisation, development of documentation, methods and means, system of quality assurance of metrological safety of processes, documents in the sphere of standardisation, technical documentation.
