Program description

Kuban State University has opened a new master’s program “Finance in the Digital Economy”.

Field of study – Economics
Major – Finance in the Digital Economy
Type of Degree – Master of Science (MSc)
Length of study – 2 (two) years (full-time)
Workload – 120 credits (60 credits per year) or 4320 academic hours
Language of instruction – English

This is an English-language program for students who want to learn to understand and critically evaluate the complex world of digital finance.

This unique educational program is focused on preparing a new generation of financiers with systemic knowledge and analytical skills in finance, financial management and consulting instruments, financial decision support, corporate financing strategy modeling, corporate lending with the use of digital technologies.

The key point of the training is a practice-oriented approach that combines a complex of specialized knowledge in the field of finance.

Requirements

Russian and international applicants can be admitted to the Master’s Degree program if they have a higher education diploma of at least a bachelor’s degree in the following fields: Economics, Management, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technologies, Physics, Geography, Law, Foreign Languages, and others. A essential requirement is fluent English at least of level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), confirmed by a Certificate of IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English exam or equivalent (for example, a diploma of additional qualification of an interpreter, etc.). Applicants who have a higher education diploma with a major in foreign languages do not need a certificate confirming their English proficiency.

Admission to the program is carried out on a competitive basis after passing the entrance exam in theoretical economics for all specialties/majors, except economics, for the latter an interview is applicable.
