The scientific library of Kuban State University, one of the largest libraries in the South of Russia, successfully combines traditional and modern innovative technologies which makes it the important component of the University, and serves as an information-educational and cultural center.
The library includes more than 1,360,000 volumes. This represents one of the richest collections of scientific and academic works, fiction, abstract journals and periodicals in all fields.
The library is particularly proud of its rare book collection (covering the period between XVII – XXI centuries), some of which are included into the All-Russian Collection of Book Monuments of Russia, and its collection of publications by scientists, scholars and employees of Kuban State University. The University library, as the regional leader in the librarian community, provides leadership on Methodic Union of the University libraries and the libraries of the secondary vocational education institutions in the Krasnodar Region.
