On April 1, KubSU hosted Mr. Kanat Khassenov, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Astrakhan. The delegation toured the university’s museum, art gallery, and rare books collection. The Consul General highly appreciated KubSU’s infrastructure.
Rector Mikhail Astapov discussed cooperation with Kazakhstani universities and Kazakh students studying at KubSU. The Consul General later met with Kazakh students, reminding them to follow Russian laws and university rules, and promised to explore career guidance events in Kazakh schools.
Currently, 101 citizens of Kazakhstan are studying at KubSU.
