On May 15, as part of the celebration of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, Kuban State University hosted a significant intellectual and cultural event – the International Olympiad in Russian among foreign students of universities in the city of Krasnodar, which was organized by the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Faculty of Philology.
This year’s theme, «A single language – thousands of cultures,» became more than just a motto; it became a living thread that connected participants from different parts of the world. The Russian language, rich, melodious, and profound, once again demonstrated its ability to serve as a bridge between different nations, opening doors to a deeper understanding of the multifaceted Russian culture.
The event was attended by students from leading universities in Krasnodar, each of whom showcased their exceptional command of the language, deep knowledge of Russian culture, and genuine love for the language they were learning. It is worth noting the high level of preparation demonstrated by all the participants in the Olympiad.
