The profile focuses on two aspects of systems analysis — business analytics using intelligent technologies and management of economic processes. The subject of study is economic processes and systems. The educational process is highly practice-oriented. All types of training are aimed at mastering competences in economic and technical areas.

The main learning paths are data analysis, process and project management (mainly in IT), programming, testing, etc.

Practitioners are involved in the educational process, they teach academic disciplines, and consult on carrying out of scientific and practical projects and practical assignments. In the educational process there is a large proportion of disciplines that imply the usage of information technology.

The profile is aimed at training highly qualified specialists for business (designers, technologists, production organisers, managers of high-tech and innovative projects) and public administration (management of public projects for the implementation of new technologies and innovative development of urban agglomerations and regions).

The main «tracks» of training — development and organisation of production of innovative products; planning and control of the project implementation process; preparation of information materials on innovative organisation, products, technologies; organisation of production and promotion of project products, their support and service; implementation of measures for promotion of a new product on the market; development of materials for negotiations with partners in innovative activities, work with partners and consumers, etc.

The profile focuses on acquiring the competences of an economist — a prestigious profession that is always in demand, forming future bachelors’ strategic thinking, developing their analytical and IT skills. The programme is universal and practical.

The courses are aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the theory and practice of business, the functioning and development of industrial markets, the development of corporate strategies and tactics in the market, gaining experience and practical skills in solving economic problems of companies and organisations, developing the ability to navigate in conditions of critical dynamics.

Representatives of leading companies and organisations of the city and the region take part in the implementation of the programme and are involved in the supervision of the final qualification works and in the teaching of the academic disciplines of the professional block.

The profile aims to train bachelor students in the organisation of commercial activities and business in local and global markets. Students are offered an opportunity to study not only English and German, but also French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.

Students will learn how to organise and manage commercial activities in domestic and international markets, how to promote goods and services in Russian and foreign markets, how to forecast demand in specific segments of international and regional markets, how to manage the range of goods and services, stock, logistics processes, etc.

The training process is carried out by leading lecturers, managers and employees of profile organisations — heads of industrial and commercial enterprises, chambers of commerce and industry, presidents of foreign trade organisations, heads of municipal structures.

The profile is focused on the formation of a systemic understanding of the modern structure of the financial and credit system, provides for the study of existing and the development of new methods and technologies of financial and credit work.

The subjects of study are financial and monetary relations; financial flows and national financial systems; financial management processes. The profile is practice-oriented and aims to train a new generation of competitive specialists who are familiar with international practices and have analytical skills in finance and credit.

Education is aimed at analysis and forecasting of financial processes and phenomena in expert and analytical services and economic analysis centres; planning and management of financial flows, credit and insurance; operations on financial markets, including financial risk management; internal and external financial control and audit; financial consultancy and advisory.

Accounting is the language of business; it is an important source of information about a company, on the basis of which management decisions are made. It is impossible to analyse this information without understanding the rules that govern its production. Auditing, in turn, makes it possible to identify deviations from the established rules and to increase the degree of confidence in the financial information.

The aim of the training is to acquire skills in accounting, preparation and auditing of financial statements, which are used in various fields of financial and economic activity.

Education is aimed at financial, management and tax accounting, financial and tax reporting of organisations, auditing and internal control, accounting and analytical software, etc.

Representatives of real business in the field of accounting outsourcing and auditing, practising accountants and financiers take part in the training of graduates. Modern information technologies are widely used in the educational process.

The combination of competences enables graduates to work in companies that operate in international markets, make foreign direct investments, have representative offices, branches, subsidiaries and joint ventures, work as executives, managers in state and municipal bodies, etc.

The profile is implemented by professors and associate professors of the Faculty of Economics and practitioners, including graduates of the Faculty who hold leading positions in Russian and foreign companies and organisations. Business partners of the programme provide internships.

Accounting and control is the basis of economic security of any company. Accurate and continuous accounting, inventory of property and financial liabilities, detection of shortages and illegal actions, audit of the efficiency of the use of funds are only a small part of the subject area of a specialist in the field of economic security.

Preparation within the framework of this specialisation will allow to operatively control production processes, to detect mistakes and violations of the valid legislation, which will allow to carry out labour activity in commercial organisations, audit companies, control and audit and law enforcement bodies.
