Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)

Full-time program

This programme is aimed at training teachers of Russian language and literature, who can carry out professional activities in educational institutions of different levels: pre-school, general and professional education. The graduates successfully solve pedagogical, project and cultural-educational professional tasks in the field of education and science.

Types of professional activity:

Teaching in primary and secondary schools, research work, administrative and office work, assistant to the head of an organisation.

44.03.05 Pedagogical education. Profile: Russian as a foreign language/non-native.Supplementary education in the field of philology

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)

Full-time program

Graduates are able to work as teachers of Russian language and literature, including — with children whose native language is not Russian, as well as to apply philological knowledge in the system of supplementary education in work with foreigners/migrants of different ages in the process of their linguistic and cultural adaptation, and with Russian-speaking children and adults in cultural-educational activities.

Main subjects studied:

  • Methodological-pedagogical module (methodology of teaching Russian language, literature and Russian as a foreign language, pedagogy);
  • Linguistics module (modern Russian language and its system);
  • Literature module (history and theory of literature);
  • Introduction to linguoculturology;
  • Latin language;
  • Fundamentals of Russian literature;
  • Linguistic bases of the description of Russian as a foreign language;
  • Foreign language in professional activity;
  • Organisation and conduct of cultural and educational events;
  • Interpreting in front of a foreign audience;
  • Methodical support of work with gifted children;
  • Modern technologies of supplementary education.

Types of professional activity:

45.03.01 Philology. Profile Russian Philology.

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)

Full-time program

The programme is aimed at forming knowledge of theory, methodology and history of the Russian language and literature, which are necessary for carrying out professional activity in the sphere of education, science, culture, art, mass communication, editorial-publishing activity.

Main subjects studied:

  • Linguistics module (modern Russian language and its system);
  • Literary Studies Module (History and Theory of Literature);
  • Basics of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics;
  • Art and World Literature;
  • Russian art and culture;
  • The linguistic personality of authors of various types of texts;
  • Contemporary trends in Russian linguistics;
  • Stylistics and culture of speech;
  • Practical principles of literary editing and proofreading;
  • Classical and modern texts of Russian literature and literature of the peoples of Russia’s near abroad;
  • Russian literature abroad;
  • Contemporary problems of modern Russian literature.

Types of professional activity:

The objects of professional activity of the graduates are languages, literary criticism, literary criticism, oral folk art in their theoretical and practical, socio-cultural and regional aspects.

45.03.01 Philology. Profile: Applied Philology

Duration: 5 years (10 Semesters)

Full-time program

The programme provides graduates in Applied Philology with the necessary skills to work in various fields of communication, advertising, public relations, translation, editing and publishing, and literary editing.

Main subjects studied:

  • Linguistic module (modern Russian and its history from a pragmatic point of view);
  • Literary studies module (development of Russian and foreign literature, literary theory);
  • Cognitive studies in linguistics;
  • -Applied psycholinguistics;
  • Functional stylistics;.
  • Urbanism of the modern city;
  • Applied Discursology;
  • Principles of philological hermeneutics;
  • Principles of literary editing and proofreading;
  • Creative Writing;
  • Literature and Cinematography;
  • Problems of modern neology;
  • Functional characteristics of secondary texts.

Types of professional activity:

Graduates will also have the knowledge and skills to work as teachers in educational institutions at different levels, and will be able to successfully carry out both research and applied professional tasks.Main subjects studied:
